Object UX-22是以青绿色翡翠打造的大约6x6x6cm的正方体，极少数为墨玉制作¹其边角打磨圆润，四面分别篆刻有“寒”、“苦”、“回”、“向”四个字，底面有圆形花纹，顶面中央有宽约3cm的插口，一张纸条的一半从中插入并夹在玉石中，另一部分则从顶部探出。此纸条实际并非普通纸张，无法对其进行检测²，但已知不能被破坏，打湿，点燃。

升天宝诰 的特殊性质体现在当一名流浪者将纸条抽出后，纸条将从手中飞离至半空，随后半透明化，“碎玉毁约，即入阴冥”八字在纸上伴随着其他纹样出现，并不停闪动，使得纸条看上去像是一张白色的符咒一般。之后纸条将飞至流浪者的身后悬浮，并永远跟随流浪者，不再与任何物体发生物理碰撞或干涉，也无法被任何方法消除。

随着纸条的抽出，原本有些阴冷的翡翠开始发热，逐渐变的温润，能隐约看到内部有微光流动。这时翡翠将处于激活状态，一旦翡翠被摔碎，³原先纸条对应的流浪者将如同灵魂被抽走一般瘫软在地，瞬间失去生命体征。因翡翠摔碎而死亡的流浪者的尸体不会随时间自然腐烂，也不会因轻微磕碰受到损伤，至于纸条将悬浮在尸体周围，在大约15~30天后自行消失。

Object UX-22的用途广泛，握住已经被激活的玉石，原地深呼吸并静心冥想，便可以获得被符咒附身的流浪者的五感，注意力越集中，感官就越清晰。当流浪者探索某个层级时，与之共享感官的流浪者可以发现潜在的危险与更多的细节，并用通讯设备及时提醒探索者。尽管此种方式在探索方面有着优势，但也存在着一定的风险。因此，包括M.E.G.在内的大部分团体都对这种方法作出了严格限制，例如M.E.G.规定，以探索为目的使用升天宝诰必须经过高层批准，且持有玉石的一方应受到2名人员看守，探索结束后立刻将玉石归还探索者。

Object UX-22也被一些流浪者用于在难于脱困的极端情况下自尽，以避免某些层级的长期折磨。流浪者大都认为，这种离开的方式是最体面，最快捷和最无痛的。但同时，小部分流浪者和个别团体用武力威胁其他流浪者抽出纸条，并控制他们人身自由，甚至将他们作为商品出售。M.E.G.也提醒各位流浪者，谨慎使用Object UX-22。

当身上附有纸条的流浪者由于其他原因死亡时，对应的翡翠将开始从插口冒出向下流动的白雾，整个翡翠都将笼在浓密的雾中。尽管看上去像是沸腾了一般，但事实上玉石却在极速降温，冰冷的发出低沉的鸣声，即使是不了解此物品的流浪者，听到声音也称“像是有什么东西随着声音无力的消逝"。这种现象在几秒内达到最高峰，随后半小时内渐渐衰退，最后待蒸腾的白雾消失，只留下了一块形状怪异的灰暗石块，不温不凉，一文不值。与此同时，对应的纸条也消失的无影无踪。而被摔碎的翡翠则会化为虚影，随后突然消失，而那些灰暗石块经过检测，就只是普通的各种石头，无特殊之处。

另有少部分说法称，摔碎翡翠后，对应的流浪者在几天内频繁出现在梦境里，一言不发。此说法尚未得到证实，无从得知是杀人的心理压力所导致的还是受物品的特殊性质所影响。
